Sevara & Joachim
Dear Family and Friends,
Pack your dancing shoes and bring your appetite, we can’t wait to celebrate
our wedding with you! From May 18 to 20, 2026 in Tashkent, we’re throwing a
celebration of love, laughter, and incredible food. Together we will connect two worlds,
dance into the night, and create unforgettable memories. See you in Uzbekistan!
Dear guests
Save the Date
It all started with a swipe, no expectations, just two people curious
enough to meet for a Glühwein at the Zurich Christmas market.
It wasn’t just a date. It was the date. Neither of us was looking
for anything serious, but by the end of the night, something just
clicked, unexpectedly, effortlessly, and a little magically.

“Joachim, born in Tübingen and raised by Lake Constance,
is thoughtful, calm, and one of the kindest souls I have ever met.
He is also the funniest and most charming guy I know. He made me
smile the whole evening, so daring and so confident that he
completely swept me away. I will never forget how happy I
came home after that first date.”

“Sevara’s roots are in Tashkent, a place as beautiful and full of life as
she is. She is incredibly kind, with a warm heart that seems to embrace
everyone around her. From the moment we met, everything felt natural
and easy, as if my heart had finally found its place. Sevara has a gift for
making the world more beautiful in the way she speaks, the way she
moves, and the way she cares. I still don’t understand how someone like
her chose me, but I am grateful every single day.”

From that night on, life together has been a wild and beautiful ride,
navigating long-distance love across five cities. Six months into dating,
in the middle of lockdowns and uncertainty, we decided to move in
together, and just like that, we were all in, building not just a life, but a
family. Fast forward to today, we live in Basel with our two little girls,
Leyli and Amal, the sweetest mix of daddy’s calm and mama’s sass.
In short, our love story has been built on travel, late-night calls,
timezone juggling, and above all, an unshakable feeling that no
matter how wild things get, we would always choose each other.
A small celebration in the heart of Central Asia
Why Uzbekistan?
Our Story
Casual brunch (details to follow). One last espresso
before we say “Korishamiz!” see you soon.
DAY 3 - May 20th Farewell Brunch
We warmly invite you to share in our joy on our wedding day. Our celebration will begin with a beautiful ceremony (details to follow), followed by a wedding reception with dinner, drinks, and dancing at Miras Restaurant (Niyozbek Yuli Passage, 3rd Drive 4) in Tashkent. Dress Code: Semi-formal.
Settle in, unwind, and explore the city at your own pace.
In the evening, join us for a welcome dinner, where we’ll
share a traditional Uzbek meal, the perfect moment to meet
family and friends and begin the celebrations together!
Gentlemen: Bring the style. Suits are encouraged — bold details, ties, and accessories welcome. A classic black suit is always chic. Channel your inner Italian sprezzatura.
Ladies: Think colorful summer evening glam. Ruffles, feathers, playful textures, and statement details are welcome. Floor-length gowns or chic cocktail dresses both work beautifully. A Central Asian– or Middle Eastern–inspired look is equally fabulous.
Dress Code: Dress to impress
